I've been in mourning for Philadelphia the last few months, and started crying as I was looking over pictures to post. This dear woman is amazing, and I miss her!
We call her Grandma Joyce, she's our Philadelphia Grandma. Joyce is amazing! She's a retired school teacher, and is always-- and I mean ALWAYS-- helping someone! She's a wealth of knowledge about North Philadelphia, and is a champion for all the good sides of Philly that often get overlooked. Joyce has MET Martin Luther King Jr.- he blessed her son when he son was young. She is a fascinating woman we dearly love.
