Former Wombmates...

We're home, recovery is now beginning!  Thank heavens my parents are here...can't bear to think of them leaving.  The recovery has been much worse than I anticipated, the double whammy of 1 vaginal birth and 1 c-section has been an experience, to say the least.  Thanks everyone for being so patient and understanding.  I hope to see visitors and return phone calls soon!  I'm just posting a couple pics really quick, eventually I'll get around to typing up the whole birth story.  In the meantime, thanks so much for all your support.  We're so blessed!

Makett & Tanzen...still swollen from birth.

Tanzen & Makett, I can't get over how tiny they are compared to my hand!

Tanzen & Makett (yes, Makett is wearing Tanzen's hat for you very observant people!)

Makett & Tanzen

Makett sleeping, Tanzen winking

Tanzen doesn't want anymore pictures, Makett's just too darn tired to notice!

Good luck with the recovery. It will take a little bit to get back to normal, but it's all worth it, huh? :) It was so fun to see more pictures! They are so tiny..I can't believe the skinny legs! And they have such cute little faces! My baby was only 12 ounces bigger at birth and I swear now that she was never that tiny and scrawny! They grow up SO fast. Enjoy every moment!!

They are as darling as can be! Are they identical? I wish you the best for your recovery. It takes about two months before you feel OK about your life! Hang in there.

Wow! They are so beautiful/handsome, not sure what the best word for little boys is. I'm sorry the recovery is seeming uncomfortable and slow. I wish you the best. Try not to overdo it, I did that and it seemed to set me back in my recovery.

Good luck, and looking forward to more posts in the future!

I love the pictures--they are so precious! I'm sorry your recovery stinks. I was pretty worthless after Gwen was born for a long time.

Your babies are so adorable! They look so cute all cuddled up next to one another. Good luck with the recovery, I'm a little nervous about that one myself. Congratulations again!

oh my heck they are cute!! Yes recovery will take time- don't worry about not returning phonecalls/emails, etc... You've got DOUBLE duty on your hands.. I want to bring you guys dinner, but I'll trouble you about it in a few weeks when your parents are gone...
For now, enjoy the hectic journey and get some rest (what am i saying?? rest? ha)

Wow Chaci! They both have more hair than Brynley currently has. :) They are *SO* beautiful! 2 for the price of 1 pregnancy. How great is that? Best of luck with the recovery. Yikes! I thought that was the worst part. Great thing is, it doesn't last forever and you're amazing! Recovering from all of that and still making time to throw some pics up on your blog for the rest of us to enjoy. You go girl!

Chaci, they are soo dang cute!!! I am showing them to Zellia and she says, "Ohhh toot!" Then I tell her, "babies sleeping" and she puts her finger to her mouth and goes "shhhhhh" We love them already! Prayers are going up for you girl! I can't imagine how difficult your recovery must be! Hang in there. I've also been thinking about your feeding schedule. How ya holding up?

Congrats!!! I hope you get feeling great soon. I can't even imagine two new ones, and two traumatic deliveries, because let's be honest, one of either is traumatizing!!! They are so cute and I know you'll be a wonderful mom!
