Digging out!

Luckily for us we were able to borrow a shovel from our neighbors...because we sure needed it! Philadelphia got it's second biggest snow storm in history-- 22.9 inches!

We were snowed in all weekend and it was WONDERFUL!!!!!

Tanzen loved the snow, Makett was a little more reluctant...

By Sunday afternoon we needed to get out, so we took the boys for a walk to survey the snow...

It was such a pain to dig out of parking spots that people were saving their spots-- we saw trash cans and kitchen chairs saving spaces all over our block.

Let it snow!

Heavyweight

Anyone who has lifted Tanzen or Makett has deduced that the title of the post must be referring to the ball, not the boy.

Stylin'

A sweet patient of Brandon's knitted these hats for Makett and Tanzen.

At first they were a little hesitant to wear them...

But then Makett got rather attached and started wearing it around the house...

Which inspired Tanzen...

So they're stylin' all the time, pj's and all!

I grew up in a canyon in northern Utah and thought I'd seen amazing fall leaves, however, fall in Pennsylvania hasn't ceased to amaze me. Formerly mundane trips to run errands are now filled with incredible colors. I snapped these while taking Tanzen and Makett on a walk around our block. Gorgeous!!! The blossoms in the spring, intense green in the summer, and vibrant leaves in the fall...truly a feast for the eyes!

Ketty the penguin and Tanny the turtle...am I biased, or are they not the cutest penguin and turtle you've ever seen?

Our friend Henry made a great addition to our little animal club!

Biting

We were at Target last week and Makett kept sticking his finger in Tanzen's mouth. He'd crack up every time and they were both thoroughly entertained. The girls behind me started quoting the Charlie You Tube video. Right on cue Tanny bit Makett's finger and Makett was quite surprised! This scenario has been repeated several times since, with both boys participating as the biter.

This is a cell phone video, so it's grainy, but, you get the idea! I can't figure out why the sound is so off...it's better when you can hear Tanny's reaction, but you'll just have to imagine...

Sharing

Sharing can be tough. No matter what I have, my brother has something that's more desirable. Plus, all our favorite places aren't quite big enough for two...we try though!
