Brandon's brother and his wife live in Virginia, and we were excited to be able to visit them one last time before THE MOVE. Brandon had to give a presentation on Radiating Hope, and had his little brother Andrew, who is in his first year of med school, give the presentation so he could put it on his resume. Andrew and his wife flew out from Texas, and we had ourselves a grand, (and short!) little family reunion.
Ryme and her cousin Elinore...they're going to be great friends someday. For now they didn't mind sharing the same space :)
Makett and Elinore
We took the boys to the Air and Space Museum, they were pretty impressed.
Tanzen could have watched this video of a WWII plane all day
We had great timing with the rain, and found the easiest way to share 2 ponchos among 4 adults was to use them as canopies. The Holocaust Museum and touring the White House were the last things on my DC bucket list. Sadly, we didn't have time to get tickets to the White House, OR to the Holocaust museum's main exhibit, although we at least got to see the exhibit on Nazi Propaganda. Guess I'll have to go back to DC again...
